Best Cheap Affordable Web Hosting

WebHostingPad used to have their act together, but something went horribly wrong during 2009 and apparently the Better Business Bureau had enough and slapped them off the tit on November 16, 2009.  See the WebHostingPad F rating here.  All I can say is WOW!   They say there’s power in numbers, but from only 76 people?  WOW!  WHP really must have screwed the pooch.

I guess people had enough of their crap.  I know I did.  I had two hosting plans with them.  They advertise FrontPage extensions on their plans, yet on two different occasions within months of each other they removed them and they did it without notifying their customers.  The second time they must have had enough people complain and they put them back.  You can’t do shit like that to your customers.  How do these people sleep at night? 

Just last week they turned off unlimited add-on and parked domains on one of my accounts.  I think it was in retaliation when they noticed the surge in bandwidth on my accounts over Thanksgiving weekend.  I was in the process of moving all of my domains to another host.  What a bunch of pissy little bitches.  Lucky for me, I got everything off without a hitch.  Just as well.  WordPress ran like crap on their servers.

I have more horror stories about them.  Like how they scam their affiliates out of commissions.  I’ll save that for another time.  Screen prints and all.  Gotta love hard copies.  Juries love that stuff, too.  So does the FTC.
