Need Help Installing WordPress
Question:
I’m meant to be making a website with WordPress but I haven’t the slightest clue what on earth the errors are when I try to install. I go to the WordPress website and it tells me to enter my SQL details or something so that looks confusing so I go to the Microsoft website and click the button that says it will do it all for me but then I get to a screen called “Enter Application Information” and it prompts me to enter passwords and things so I do that and it comes up with an error message saying “unable to connect to any of the specified mySQL hosts”. What’s a mySQL?!?!?!
What on earth is going on! Can someone please just tell me what databases or servers or whatever I need to install and how to do this. Easy installation yeah right..

WordPress has nothing to do with Microsoft. Not sure why you went to their website.
Who is your web host? Login to your web hosting control panel and look for the WordPress installer. Look for the little blue WordPress logo. Some hosts have it listed under Popular Programs, in the Website section or in Scripts and Addons. If you don’t see it, then look for the script installer.
