Why do I keep getting a “Resolving host” issue?

Question:

So over these past months whenever I am surfing the web, occasionally I get this “resolving host” when I try to enter any website. I called my provider and he said my connection is perfectly fine. I connected to a router and the main computer’s internet is perfectly fine. How do I fix this? I used avast to do a full computer scan as well and nothing showed up. And it is not my browser; I tried Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

Who is your ISP? Call them up and ask them WTF. This sounds like a DNS issue.
