Which should I use for my website ipage or bluehost?
Question: I want a website and im looking at ipage and bluehost but im confused because they both sorta look the same. which one should i get?
Answer: Depends on what you want to do with your site. Both iPage and BlueHost pretty much have the same unlimited features, but there are a few differences, including pricing. From experience, I can give you some tips.
iPage Web Hosting
If all you want is to have a website or blog and to keep it simple, then iPage might be a good fit. iPage uses the vDeck control panel, not quite as robust as BlueHost‘s cPanel control panel. Back when I had my iPage account, it had the InstallCentral software installer. It’s since been updated to SimpleScripts, which contains more software like blogs, site builders, forums, image galleries and more. iPage has a low price tag with prices starting around $3.50 per month, but don’t take my word for it because they frequently run specials, like right now! There is a Fall Savings sale going on for only $2.95 a month that you can only get from this iPage discount link.

BlueHost Web Hosting
If you’re more of a geek and need things like CRON jobs, IP blocking, better email filters, tons of website stats and more, then you’ll need the power of BlueHost. I just bought a BlueHost account last week and paid $5.95 a month for a 1 year plan. I just now checked on pricing and it’s been lowered to $4.95 and $3.95 if you get the 2 or 3 year plan. WOW! Honestly, I’ve never seen BlueHost have a sale like that. To make sure you get that low pricing, click here for the BlueHost discount link.
Like iPage, BlueHost also uses the SimpleScripts software installer in their cPanel control panel. I was really amazed at the selection of software, including more website builders than the old Fantastico had.
