Where can you buy cheap domain names?

Where can I get cheap domain names? My friend says goDaddy names are cheap. Is GoDaddy a good place to buy domain names? I don’t know of any other place to look.

Answer:

The reason godaddy comes to mind is because of their advertising. They do not have the cheapest domain names. Overhead with all those godaddy girls and Super Bowl commercials, provided they don’t get banned again because they’re considered too racy for a general audience.

FYI: To put this in perspective, a 30 second spot during the 2011 Super Bowl cost $3,000,000 dollars.
