I know both can add Adsense, and manage ads. Which one is more worth it on the long run? Do you need to apply for VIP hosting?

If you want a WordPress blog, just roll your own with a shared hosting account.  All you need to do is get some top-notch, yet extremely affordable web hosting.  How does $3.50/month for UNLIMITED sites sound verses $2500?  Yea, I thought so.
