Upgrade From Shared Hosting to VPS or Dedicated Hosting

Question: I am wanting to upgrade my hosting account to a more secure plan. However, I have about 10 sites and I have done a lot of work to them. I want a smooth transition from A hostgator shared account to a reputable VPS or dedicated server.

I have never done this before and don’t want to be stuck exporting and importing anything. Can this be done?

Answer:  A friend of mine recently did just this very same thing with her HostGator shared account and she had multiple domains on her account.  You don’t have to go hunting for a new web hosting service.  You’re already in good hands because HostGator also has both VPS and dedicated server plans so that would be the best way to go.
