What can I use to publish web pages to my HostMonster Site?

Hey! I just purchased a site for my new business. I tried finding OneNote from Microsoft, but for some reason i cannot find a download. So then, i tried to use wordpress, but the download gave me issues.

First of all, OneNote is not a website publishing tool. OneNote lets you access Microsoft Office documents from SkyDrive from almost any computer. You can download a free trial, but it comes bundled with Microsoft Office… staring price is about $280. But it’s a moot point because you can’t use it to publish web pages.

You can use one of the website builders in your cPanel or you can buy something from Staples or Office Depot. Likewise, you can download the free Kompozer website builder from Mozilla. It’s free open source.

Here’s the best option, get Aristeer. You can download a free copy and try it out. It not only builds regular web pages, but it also makes WordPress themes. Blogger, Drupal, Joomla and more. And speaking of WordPress, here’s how to get it installed on HostMonster…

WordPress for HostMonster

You don’t need to download WordPress for use on HostMonster. Just login to your HostMonster cPanel control panel, go to the Software section and click on the QuickInstall script installer. You’ll find the 1-click WordPress installation in there. Couldn’t be any easier.
