Should I Pick BlueHost or HostMonster?

Question:  I am looking for a hosting provider, and I have narrowed it down to Bluehost.com and hostmonster.com

I know they are both owned by the same company, and they both offer very similar features, but I am stuck between choosing these two. Which do you recommend, maybe in accordance with your own experiences?

Answer:  You are correct, HostMonster and BlueHost are owned by the same company.  The features are the same and so is the pricing.  Just do eany, meany, miny, mo and pick one.  I have a BlueHost account and like it because the security is tight. Even adding more domains to my account requires some extra validation to be sure I’m the owner of the name. Prevents your domains from getting ganked.  I like their version of cPanel better than other hosts because it has a few more things in it.  Both use SimpleScripts software installer instead of Fantastico.

In fact, just yesterday I got a 45-day survey notice from BlueHost wanted my opinion on how I liked my account.  They also gave me the opportunity to suggest how they could improve their service.  I have never in all my years received any type of survey from a hosting company.

BH has an A+ and HM an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau.
