Should I move from GoDaddy to FatCow?
Question:
I’ve been hosting my forums on goDaddy for awhile, but we’re moving towards more traffic, bandwidth, and adding a new site, and GoDaddy just doesn’t cut it so we’re moving.
Is fatcow a good move?
Answer:
Just about anything is better than GoDaddy for web hosting. FatCow has great service and uses the vDeck control panel. I’ll let you in on a little secret. iPage hosting is owned by the same company as FatCow, but iPage is cheaper for the exact same thing. Both are eco-friendly green hosts, too. Click here for an iPage control panel review so you can see what’s under the hood.
Oh, and iPage has NO inode limits. inodes are simply files. Even though other web hosting companies give you unlimited hosting space, they still limit the number of files you can host on your account. I contacted iPage’s tech support team and they said they do NOT have any inode limits.
