Setting up FTP/Web publishing program with already made hostmonster website?

Hi, I need to work on a website from hostmonster.com
The website is mostly set up, but I need recommendations on what program I should use and how to set up FTP with it.
I used windows vista and I’d like a free program.
I downloaded webmatrix but I’m not sure how to set it up or if its compatible?

Answer:

FileZilla is a free FTP program.

Host:  yourdomainname.com or ftp.yourdomainname.com  both should work.
Username:  probably the same one you use to access your web hosting control panel
Password:  ditto
Port:  21

Are you hand coding your site or using website builder program?  If you’re using a program, there’s probably a built-in publisher.  Use the same parameters as above.
