I have Powweb for my website, how do i get my FrontPage added to it?

I have a complete website and i use Powweb as my service provider. I initially designed my whole website with their basic service. Im in the process of using FrontPage to redo my entire site. How do i sync FrontPage to work with my Powweb?

If you used a webpage builder from Powweb to make a website, chances are it’s using a MySQL Database. That means you have no HTML web pages. Instead, you have an index.php file that fetches your site’s information from the database and dynamically displays “web pages” to the visitor. If there are no individual html pages for each and every “page” on your website, the best you can do is call up each one in the browser and then copy and paste its content into a FrontPage page. Be sure to copy it in as text so you don’t introduce any CSS formatting.

If you actually have html pages on your site, you can open FrontPage and create a website by connecting to your account so it can create the site using the existing pages. From that point on you can use FrontPage to manage your site.

I used to use FrontPage, but stopped years ago because I got tired of building menus and templates and trying to keep everything cohesive. Oh, and the constant task of having to reload the extensions because something on the server kept messing them up. I switched to WordPress and now use Artisteer to build my themes.

Artisteer also does HTML websites now, too. You’d be better off to use it instead of FrontPage and its proprietary Microsoft embedded objects which web hosts keep threatening to drop.
