I don’t get how to install WordPress

ok… i’ve looked up many tutorials on how to install wordpress, and so far, the best one i’ve found so far is: http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Install-WordPress—fast–easy-96425056
around 0:41, he copies the files to his “host” which i think is wordpress, but i have no idea. i’ve been trying to search for the answer on yahoo, google, etc. what exactly is this “host” and where can i find it? how do i get there?

If possible, please try to give a thorough explanation on how to do so :’)

If he’s copying files to his host, it’s not WordPress.com because they don’t allow any uploading. He has his own web hosting account and a lame one at that, if he has to copy the files to the web server.

The first thing you need is a web hosting account. I recommend iPage. They’ll even give you a free domain name. The hardest part is coming up with a domain name, the easiest part is installing WordPress. iPage good web hosting with excellent support and you can install WordPress with the famous 1-click installer. Get the iPage account, login to the control panel and you’ll find the WordPress installer in Softare and Add-ons in SimpleScripts. You’ll be blogging in a few minutes.
