I am looking for an inexpensive web hosting firm with wordpress click and install option. I went through some web hosting review sites, but I am unable to decide so far. I am specifically looking at one click WordPress install option. I had read somewhere about some web hosting firm providing this service but unable to recall now. I presently have a web hosting account but it does not have the “click and install” wordpress installation option. Any guidance to install wordpress manually on a linux web hosting will also be appreciated.

The reason those web hosting review sites don’t mention the 1-click WordPress install is because most of them have it. It’s become such a common feature that it’s almost not worth mentioning.

You’ll find it in the web hosting control panel (cPanel, vDeck). There are different script installers. Look in the Scripting or Software section of the control panel. Some of the popular installers are Fantastico, SimpleScripts and Softaculous. Just click on those and you’ll find the 1-click WordPress installer in there in the Blog category.

All of these web hosting companies have a 1-click WordPress installer. WebHostingHub is the best WordPress host of the entire bunch. I have an account with them and WordPress run flawlessly on it. iPage is another good one. Both have very good customer support.
