How to make a website on iPage?

Share

Question:  I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I am just creating a fun website for my girlfriend; nothing hardcore, it’s just gonna have a couple of pictures and poems and some more.

I’ve went ahead and purchased the domain name… (www.domain.com) and I know that I have to get web hosting where I’m thinking of just going with ipage.com and since it already has templates provided, but what I’m scared to do is what do I do after I purchase these?

I mean I haven’t purchased my web hosting yet… Is it automatically connected to my domain once I purchase it? Or do I actually have to go into my accounts on domain.com and lead from there?

I am so lost! Please help, thank you!!

Answer:

Click here to go ahead and get a discount for iPage web hosting for 63% off.  Accounts as low as $2.95/month.

After you buy it, change the nameservers to point to the iPage web servers.  Then login to your iPage control panel and set up an addon domain in the Domain Pointing manager for that domain you bought.  If you have problems, tech support can help you.

iPage has a drag and drop website builder in the control panel that you can try out.  Personally, I don’t build websites anymore.  I now use WordPress to make all my sites.  The WordPress software is in the iPage control panel in the Software section in the SimpleScripts installer.

WordPress will be perfect for your site.  Pick a cool theme from the ones in the Dashboard or upload a free theme of your choice.  (You can even make your own themes with a program called Artisteer.)

iPage Affordable Web Hosting with vDeck control panel and SimpleScripts 1-click software installer. Drag-n-drop website builder. Create a site in 10 minutes. Anytime moneyback guarantee. An eco-friendly green web hosting provider.
