How to buy domain names?

Share

Question:

I wanna start buying and selling domain names.  BUT I need some help.  Where can I buy cheap domains? and is it possible to create your own? if yes how?  AND…When you buy a domain…for a price…is it yours for good? … or do you pay a price every year?

Answer:

You buy domain names at a domain name registrar.  To get really cheap domain names, use NameCheap.

Do you want to become a registrar or do you want to register the names yourself and then turn them around and attempt to sell them at a profit?  If it’s the later, forget about it.  All the good names have been taken years ago.  People think they can register a cool name and then have some million dollar corporation come along and buy the name from them.  I laugh at such stupidity, silly huumon.  However, if you want to have your own domain name selling business, then click here to become a domain name reseller.

Yes, you “create your own”.  All you need to do is come up with a name that isn’t already taken then just pay to register it.

The name is yours for good AS LONG as you keep paying the renewal fee on it.  You pick then term, yearly or multi-year.
