Downloading Files From a Website

Hey, I have a website and I was wondering how I could set it up so people could download a file from my site.

If it matters my host is iPage and my FTP is Filezilla

Answer:

It’s easy.  All you have to do is give them the link to the file.  Example:  Let’s say the filename is freebook.pdf.  So the URL you’d give people is http://YourSite.com/freebook.pdf  It’s no different than accessing a file on your computer.  Just replace the “c:/” part with “http://YourSite.com/”
