How do I link a goDaddy domain to a different website?

Question:

Have a domain parked at goDaddy and a web page hosted at a different site. How do I link them? Should I be going to GoDaddy and doing something, or should I be going to the site where I am hosting (Dynadot) and doing something?

I would really appreciate some details on this, for example, I assume I am entering information somewhere to link them.. am I expected to use terms like DNS or FTP in the process? I have no idea.

Answer:

You need the DNS nameservers from your hosting company then login to your GoDaddy account and go to Domain Management and change the nameservers. I’d give them to you, but I can’t find a single reference to specific servers on that site.
