How do I install WordPress?
Installing WordPress
Question:
How to install WordPress? Is it mandatory to have a paid hosting service to host WordPress? Can I not have a free hosting service to host my WordPress? Are there any other free (and better) blogging services. Please respond.
Answer:
If you want to blog for free use WordPress.com or Blogger.com.
However, if you want to experience the full power and flexibility of WordPress, then you’ll need to install it on your own web hosting account. This is called a self-hosted blog. WordPress is the best because it’s open source. That means there are thousands of people developing free themes and plugins for WordPress, but you can’t use them on WordPress.com
Self-Hosted WordPress

f you want to install WordPress on a web hosting account so you can install themes and plugins and monetize your site (not on WordPress.com), then you need your own web hosting, but it can’t be free hosting. Free hosting is only free for a trial period and then if you don’t upgrade to Premium hosting, they’ll close your account. The problem is, places like that charge too much to upgrade. They’re betting on the fact that you’ll build a nice blog and so you don’t want to lose it, you’re force to pay their prices. You can always export your database and your files, how many people know how to do that? You don’t want to build your blog on something like that.
iPage for WordPress
The best way is to do it correctly from the start. I suggest using iPage web hosting. Hosting plans are very affordable and right now they’ve got plans for only $2.95/month. They also offer a free domain name. Once you get your account, login to your iPage control panel. In the Domains section, you’ll see the WordPress icon. Just click on it to install WordPress on your site. Select your domain from the list. HINT: Install it on the domain without the www.

You can also buy more domain names and host them on your account. I use NameCheap to buy my domains for cheap.
Here is an article explaining how to add another domain name to iPage.
