Domain Names

Question:

For example, someone owns a domain that I’d like to have.  Should I try to buy it directly from them or through a “domain agent”?  Thanks.

Answer:

Do a “whois” on the domain name and ask them if they’d be interested in selling the domain name to you.  I have people all the time trying to sell me their domain names, but they’re using a service, one that I can trust.  It’s more expensive to use a service, but it’s safe for both parties.
