How Do I build a Website Without a “host”?

Can I publish an HTML Document Without a stupid “web host” because i just want to make a site with a domain name like “www.mysite.com” not “mysite.crappyhost.com”

Answer:

What you are referring to is called a sub-domain on another site’s domain name.

What you want is you own domain name, but you’ll need to buy your own web hosting.  You can either buy a domain name from NameCheap and then get a good web hosting plan like one from iPage, WebHostingHub or BlueHost.

Or, you can take the free domain name offer at any one of those providers and just pay for hosting.  They’ll give you a free domain name for as long as you have a hosting account with them.  iPage is the cheapest and they’ve got an easy to use control panel.  Then you’ll have “www.mysite.com” and not mysite.crappyhost.com.
