Question:

I have a few blogs in wordpress and blogger, I also have a main site which im looking to build a blog for, but I want it to be part of the site, is this possible and what is the best way of doing it.

Answer:

On your web hosting account where your main site is, login to your control panel and look for the script installer. It could be something like SimpleScripts, Fantastico, QuickScripts or Softaculous. Click on the installer and there will be a blog section in there. The most popular blogging software for a self-hosted blog is WordPress.

After it’s installed, you can put a link on your main site to your blog. A word of warning, though. Don’t install the blog in the root of your domain or it will interfere with your existing site. You’ll need to install it in a new folder. Call the folder “blog” (without the quotes). Then on your main site’s menu, just like to http://yoursite.com/blog/ and your blog will load.

Who is your web hosting with? WebHostingHub has the best WordPress hosting. Out of all the hosts I’ve used, WordPress runs the fastest my Hub account. They use cPanel and Fantastico.
