Anyone heard of the website builder called FatCow?

I just made an account there and have no idea how to start, and it’s impossible to get help on the site; I can never get through to a service tech. So I figured maybe this would be easier. Does anybody have any advice? I don’t know how to begin actually creating my site, all I see are tools to help EDIT the site, but I have no idea how to start building it. PLEASE HELP!!

FatCow is a web hosting company, not a website builder.  What you have is a web hosting account that allows you to make a site using whatever tools you choose.  Here are some options for you.

Install WordPress

You can skip the whole traditional website thing and install a blog, instead.  Best of all, it’s free.  You’ll find the WordPress software is all ready available in your control panel under Scripting and Addons in the SimpleScript software installer in the Blog section.

Website Publishing Tool

You can buy a website builder from an office supply store that you install on your computer and then upload the pages to your hosting account.  Programs like Dreamwever have a steep learning curve, but there’s a program called WebEasy 8 that’s easy to use.  It’s a drag and drop builder with hundreds of templates.  They’re got an offer for 3 months free web hosting, but get that because you already have hosting.
