Question: I want to have my own site to display my photography, currently I am using iPage because they let you have a real domain name ie. evanphotography.com

But I want to use Flash, theres a great site called Wix.com that uses Flash and awesome templates, but then your domain name is like wix.com/evan/site etc etc

Suggestions?

Have you looked in your iPage control panel under Scripts and Addons?  There is a software installer called SimpleScripts.  There is photo gallery software in there.

Wix.com DOES let you use your own domain name, but only with the premium paid service.  You can see their plans here:  http://www.wix.com/upgrade/website#!page-2  They’re VERY expensive with bare bones features.

To connect your domain to the Wix nameservers:

1) At your domain name registrar point your domain to the Wix nameservers: ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com

2) Go to your Wix Domain Manager (My Account > Manage Premium > Domains) and add your domain.
