iPage ReviewI purchased an iPage account to make sure they can live up to their promises. They have strict security checks in place for sign up. I messed up the sign up and was stopped dead in my tracks when I accidentally used a debit card with a $0 balance on it and then tried to do the transaction over with a different card. Honestly, that should set off alarms and it did. Long story short, I ended up creating three accounts when I attempted to do it over a couple of times. When the dust settled from the mess I made (my fault, not theirs), it was all sorted out within 18 hrs. Customer service was excellent. After I messed up the sign up process, I called to get it straightened out. The lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and I didn’t have to repeat myself over and over like you have to do with some help desk reps. She understood the problem the first time and fixed it. I think this any time guarentee is a good way of operating, as it shows they are confident in their service. If people are happy it won’t affect the company; it will only be a problem for them if they produce a poor service. As a customer this means you can be confident that they will do all they can to make sure the service is of a high standard.
This is very informative about hosting. I have gotten taken by some hosting companies that just don’t work correctly. The service and support was terrible so now I will be making a well informed decision.
