Question:

I’m looking to transfer web hosts for my movie site.  Unlimited web space is a must, as im going to start hosting all of my anime episodes and movies directly on the site. Each movie is roughly 50gb. Right now I’m on FreeWebs. I was looking at 000webhost.com and justhost.com. Would either one of those work? Any other that are better?

Answer:

Forget about 000webhost. It’s temporarily free. If you don’t upgrade to a paid plan soon thereafter, they’ll delete your account.

Any web host that offers unlimited anything will always have restrictions that effectively limit what you can do. For example JustHost explicitly forbids multimedia downloads/streaming on their unlimited disk space packages. Streaming movies will send off red flags because they suck server resources. The automatic suspension script will suspend your account. Other hosts will have similar restrictions. JH also has a 50,000 inode limit.

I would suggest looking at hosting plans from these hosts. You’ll probably need something more than simple shared hosting, like VPS or even a Dedicated server.
