Cheap Web Hosting from iPage

I was wondering if web-hosting is really cheap? I am currently looking to host a website for the fun of it through ipage.com. when it says $ 3.50 per month (billed 84.00 for 24 months), do you just get charged for that much once or is it repetitive?

Yes, you get charged that much at once.  They don’t have month to month plans.  Those monthly plans from other web hosts end up costing more. They’re usually around $7.95-$9.95/mo with a $20-$25 setup fee.
