Branding

You can create a brand name by using your name or your service or product’s name, but that requires a lot of advertising in order to be found. People aren’t going to know how to find your site unless they already know your name or the name of your product or service.

Keywords

My preferred way is to include the very keywords that people are already searching on, but chances are someone else already ganked it. I have a way to side-step that. I use additional short words, prefixes or suffixes to add onto my keyword phrase to make it unique. (see the list of words below) It’s best to add things to the end of the name. Search engines like finding keywords at the beginning of things like at the beginning of your page title, page description and your domain name. They will also bold those words when they’re found in the search results.

Cheap Domain Names

You can register your domain name at goDaddy. A lot of people use them because they’re so popular. They see and hear the ads on TV and the radio. That’s an example of branding.
